“Identità d’Abruzzo” – ISPRA Photo exhibition

Villetta Barrea (AQ), 7-15 August

ISPRA will display the photographic exhibition "Identità Abruzzo" (Abruzzi identity) from August 7 to August 15 in the heart of Parco Nazionale d'Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise. The City of Villa Barrea (AQ) will host the event, as part of the cultural activities planned for summer 2010. The Protagonists of the shots, realised by ISPRA photographer Paolo Orlandi in over twenty years, will be the "women of Abruzzo", immortalized with great artistic sensitivity in real scenarios of their daily lives. The exhibition will be inaugurated on August 7 and will be attendeded by local politicians. In addition to the author of the photographs, experts of ISPRA Will partecipate to the inauguration. The entrance to the exhibition is free. The event represents an excellent opportunity to visit a touristic and cultural characteristic Italian village located in the heart of the National Park.

The catastrophic subsidences in natural and antrophic environment

In this volume are collected the works presented during the 2° International workshop ' The sinkholes. The catastrophic subsidences in natural and antrophic environment", organized by ISPRA-Soil Protection Department, held in Rome last December. The meeting was a great scientific opportunity in terms of partecipation of experts of public administration and Acamedic sector.

Geomorphological sheet 367 "Tagliacozzo" at the scale 1:50.000

The sheet shows a piece of land located at north-east of the capital, including a large part in the River Tiber basin. It provides the detailed elements necessary to reconstruct the evolution of the physical landscape of a section of the Central Appennino. It allows, through the representation of the active phenomena, to evaluate the dangerousness of the area in order to set planning interventions.

Regulation of ISPRA

Decree No. 123 of May 21, 2010 was published on the Official Gazette No 179 of August 3, 2010. The Decree was issued by the Ministry of the Environment, Land and Sea and addresses the "Regulations containing rules governing the merging of APAT, INFS and ICRAM in a single institution, named Istituto Superiore per la Ricerca e la Protezione dell'Ambiente" (Ispra ), in accordance with article 28, paragraph 3, of Decree-Law of June 25, 2008, No. 112, ratified with amendments by Law 6 August 2008, No. 133.
